0:09 Today’s question comes from our partner Erica at BrickSolid Brands. Erica asks, “How can I effectively use AI to generate blog content for my clients while ensuring it’s high quality, avoids Google penalties, and provides real value to users?”

0:22 Well, I’ll start off by saying Google can detect AI generated content, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. Google’s focus is really on the quality of content, not how it’s produced.

0:35 Google might penalize you if you use AI to generate a mass amount of low-quality content, like any content that’s spammy or very thin and just in general not helpful to users. And that’s because they really want to avoid filling their search engine with AI generated fluff.

0:51 But if you use AI strategically, it can be a really valuable tool. Think of it as a really good starting point. AI can easily create a basic draft on common topics.

1:03 Like if you need a blog post on keyword research, AI could probably do a good job at mapping out the basics. But then here’s the key. Add your own expertise. Share your unique insights, case studies, your experiences, and that’s what’s going to make your content stand out.

1:18 It’s the human touch that AI cannot replicate. And always, always, always review and edit your AI generated content. It’s a tool, not a replacement for your expertise. Focus on creating helpful user focused content and you’ll be absolutely fine whether AI helped you or not.
